In order for a building or a community to be considered truly green, it must not only be designed to be an environmentally friendly building once its built; it must also be constructed with that same level of concern for the world around us.
For example, as Ashford Park is built, over 75% of the construction waste will be diverted away from landfills. In addition, many of the building products and finishes including the bamboo floors are made from naturally sustainable raw materials, while others are made from recycled items.
